The owner/server lady was super friendly and welcomed us as soon as we walked in. The place feels really cozy and warm inside. The food was delicious, and the service was amazing. We ordered a coconut water, and she actually cut open a fresh coconut for us—so cool! Everything was great, and we definitely want to come back to try more from the menu.

Amazing food, amazing service. This is one of the most lovely restaurants I got to eat at here in the Tacoma area. It's truly a family business. Mom, daughter, daughter in law, son. I came for dinner for my birthday and they went absolutely above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restrictions and the service... world class! I observed on how Bloom (the owner) would interact with each customer and can't help but see everyone walking out with a smile... the entire team here has so much passion to want to serve the community. In hard times, this restaurant is a reminder of the under dog that is fighting to survive and thrive and I am so pleased with my meal here and will be coming back and if you're on the fence as you see multiple other thai restaurant nearby, i would say truly the reviews don't lie. 5/5!

Delicious Thai food! After seeing this place on social media for a few months I decided to try it out and the food did not disappoint. The crispy garlic chicken was freshly fried and so crispy. The sauce was tangy and spicy. My personal favorite was the udon pad kee mao, the udon noodles were perfectly chewy and the sauce had a deep umami flavor. Our only complaint would be the ordering system. There were quite a few people trying to order, get self serve water, and the food comes out of the same ordering window so it was pretty hectic. The gentleman busing tables, bringing out food, and taking care of guests was incredibly attentive. This is a small family owned business that will be a favorite of ours from now on!

The food was amazing. Service was great. My only complaint was the plates were super light. Tried the Thai tea, sweet and tasted amazing. The little hot peppers were great as well. Small place so not may people can fit.

Such great service (it's self service but the staff is very accommodating) and amazing food - we had tom kha soup, Bangkok crispy garlic chicken, and chinese broccoli pork belly. I usually avoid pork but the crispy texture and flavors were great and it's now my favorite new dish! The tom kha was perfect and we enjoyed the addition of cherry tomatoes. The Bangkok chicken was good but caters to an American palate, so a good good if you're a picky eater. The ambience is also really great and reminds me of cute cafes in Chiang Mai! We're already planning to come back here soon.

Honestly 4.9 is so underrating this restaurant! Who would not rate a 5 star for this?! Absolutely amazing food!! Coconut shrimp, 10 out of 10! Please order crispy pork belly when you order pad thai. It is extra 4 dollars for the pork belly but that was absolutely worth it! This dish should be priced 25 seriously. And last but not least, the mango sticky rice was like a two serving size but only one serving price! These dishes were insanely underpriced! If I lived here, I would definitely go there often before they raise the price!

One of my absolute favorite restaurants! Every time I’m driving through or in the area I have to stop by, I think about the coconut shrimp and tomyum wontons here on a regular basis. The service is fast and friendly, and the restaurant is well decorated and cozy. Lakewood is lucky to have Bloom Thai!

We visited on a Sunday right as they opened, and from the moment we walked in, the waitress and staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The restaurant was charming, with thoughtful and inviting decor that added to the experience. Our group of five all agreed that the prices were very reasonable. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and everything was outstanding. My personal favorites were the Udon Pad See-ew Noodles and the Pad Thai, both of which were bursting with flavor. To top it off, the owner came out later to offer us coconut prawns, which were absolutely delicious. Her warm and friendly demeanor made us feel even more at home. Having lived in western Washington for many years, I can confidently say this is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. We’ll definitely be back—this place truly delivers on every level.
